It is no secret that Bulwark, Georgia, has seen some bizarre incidents. It's a town filled with witches, werewolves, vampires, and ghost stories. One might question if these are just stories, so to speak, or whether there's more to this isolated town than meets the eye. Crazy or not, Bulwark is home to JB Stratton and his filthy rich lover, Ellie. There’s no way the two could have been together; he is from a poor background, while Ellie is from a wealthy, sophisticated family. However, anybody who knows the definition of love could see that these two had an instant connection pulling them closer to each other. Now, it's up to these lovebirds to use their pasts to their advantage, but it's not as easy as it sounds, and especially in a place called Bulwark.

The Knowing: A Bulwark Anthology by Brit Lunden is a continuation of her novella, Bulwark, which follows the life of Sheriff Clay in this weird old town of Georgia called Bulwark. The book has beautifully combined supernatural mystery with romance to entice readers, and just like her previous works Lunden has made the characters mesmerizingly unforgettable and the setting one that will inhabit the imagination of readers. The twisty, darkly written plot is perfectly paced and each chapter is written with an ending that propels the reader forward onto the next chapter.

Previously a famous children's book author, Brit Lunden is now diving into the world of adult fiction, and there's no denying that she has been doing a splendid job with strong, memorable characters and exciting plot twists. This book will take readers on an entertaining, fast-paced ride with many horror stories and disturbing tales. It is absorbing, a story with a setting that comes across to readers as a character in the tale.
